Malad Reunion
I am sure most of you are wondering where Malad is? It is a small town in Southern Idaho. The pace is pretty slow but you can beat cooling off in the creek! We traveled there this summer for the annual Williams family reunion. The kids and I have never attended and I think it has been quit sometime since Lance has gone. The kids loved getting dirty, running through the creek and catching tons of grasshoppers.
Thanksgiving Point
A trip to Utah would not be complete with out a trip to Thanksgiving Point. We had a great day visiting the Dinosaur Museum, taking a pony ride and petting lots of animals. It was a fun and hot day spent with Lance's mom, his sister and her two children --Nikki and Nathan. Three of my brothers came too --Tyson, Corbin and Gaven. The kids had a blast!!
BYU Baseball Camp
Chase and his buddy Austin Welch went to BYU Baseball Camp this July. The boys were super excited to stay in the dorms and eat in the college cafeteria. Sierra, Ty and I took the boys to lunch at the Cougar eat on Monday afternoon! Then we headed to the BYU bookstore to get a baseball cap, a small reminder of their trip in Utah! Then off to the dorms -- we made up their beds, unpacked their clothes and stocked their refrigerator with drinks. I was a little nervous to leave but the boys could not wait to kick me out. They had a great week of fun and friends and I think they even learned a little bit of baseball!!
Miley Cyrus comes to Utah!!
Lucky for us we got to spend 4th of July at the Stadium of Fire with Miley. The concert was sold out, but thanks to Uncle Ty, Uncle Corbin and Uncle Courtney they got tickets for us all. Sierra had the time of her life -- she and my mom sat in the 10th row and was center stage. The rest of us sat up in the nose bleed section of cougar stadium!! But we still enjoyed ourselves!
"UNCLES and COUSIN TIME" in Utah
We love spending time with our cousins and being spoiled by our Uncles!! We spent several days with my brother Courtney and his wife Tennille and their three children -- Justin, Owen and Cambria!! My parents also came up Utah to visit over the Fourth of July. It was fun for the kids and I to have 5 of my 6 brothers all together. My kids wish they lived closer to their cousins so we try build as many memories as possible when we visit!!
Visiting Uncle AA in Cedar City
This summer Uncle Ty (my brother)drove with me and the kids to Cedar City Utah to visit my brother AA. Ty was very brave and so patient with my four kids. It was a long 11 hour car ride. Everyone loves visiting AA's house. He has a jacuzzi tub, a big shower with jets coming out of the wall, a pool table, slot machines, a movie theater, a play house, a pond to play in and lots of room to run around and be a kid!! Cedar City was our first stop on our three and a half week vacation through Utah. We spend time in Utah every summer seeing family and taking advantage of all the fun things this state has to offer families!

Children's Discovery Museum
We took a field trip to the the Children's Discovery Museum with many of our cousins. We had a great day of painting a VW bug (yes a real VW), building towers, shopping at a pretend grocery store, riding a police motorcycle and much more. We stayed for over 3 hours and the kids could have stayed longer if we didn't need to get home for naps!! A fun day was had by all!!
